Upcoming Show

Here’s a preview of my upcoming show, “of many waters,” at Memphis Theological Seminary. It runs September 22-October 20. Opening reception is September 22.

Group Show at Kunsthalle Galapagos

I’m showing “The Fever that Cured the Disease” in the group show “Can’t Hear the Revolution” curated by Julie McKim opening on August 13 at the DUMBO art space Kunsthalle Galapagos.

Airplane

In Brooklyn where the planes fly over us.

Magnolia Memphis

Back in Memphis for a week where the dogwoods and magnolias mix.

Mellinger Studio

I prepared my studio for a visit from the Hambidge board.

Up Early

An amazing morning in the hills of Rabun County.

At Hambidge

Mellinger Cabin — my home for the next two weeks at Hambidge Center for the Arts and Sciences in Georgia

Brooklyn Blizzard

I took this photograph in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn a couple days after the blizzard. It will most likely become part of the Absalom, Absalom! series as the “iron dark” of the North.

Show in Louisville

I showed Divisions in the Caldwell Chapel at Louisville Seminary on Friday, October 22.

Talk in Louisville

I gave a presentation to a class at Louisville Seminary on Thursday, October 21. I showed one of the scrolls from the Flood installation. The photo was after my presentation, talking with a student about the layering process.
